School is out again. The rain has pretty much taken over our lives around here. I am on the east side of ATL and we have been an area that has gotten some of the worse of it. If you have time, browse AJC.com for some pictures from across the state, attached to this post are some pictures that I have collected from our area. These are all within a half mile of my school. Please pray for the people that need it. It is really bad, and people need the power of prayer right now.

Hanging On

I am hanging on. I do not have work today due to flooding... it is absolutely NUTS here with the amount of standing water that we have. I have decided to make the most of it and catch up on life. I have pretty much read pages and pages of blog post and other things to catch up on everything you all have been up to. My spirits are higher due to the Fall and everything that Fall brings. FALL IS MY FAVORITE SEASON!!

I have been busy with my classroom and grad school and starting the year in a complete funk. I have always had dreams of starting my own business and now Im getting very antsy to do that. I have to remember that things will come in time and that eventually we can get to that. Its the "want right now" feeling and knowing that life doesnt always have the same plans. I just know that teaching will not be my lifelong job. I want to do other things.

I think I need a blog makeover. I need an entire makeover. I love what Addie Designs did with my blog awhile back but just as my life, Im ready for a change again. I have to get back on blogger. I enjoy doing it and I need to keep up with it.

Prof. Photos NEEDED

I believe someone might have asked this in a previous post (and forgive me for not remembering) but Big C and I (and monogram puppy) want to have some family photos taken this fall. We have had a set taken every fall since we have been engaged. Does anyone know a REASONABLE and good photographer in ATL? I would love to know who you use and if you were happy with the end result

I thought we had this all figured out...

We have really worked hard at training Monogrampuppy to not get on furniture because of her MASSIVE shedding. It literally takes us 30 extra minutes of vacuuming to get it all cleaned up when she does "forget the rules"

Hey.. I have returned!

Im back! We got settled into home last night late and Im finally getting things organized, washed, and ready for 2 of my girlfriends visit this weekend.I need help though. Does anyone know of a website that sells OKA-B shoes for cheaper than I can get them on their direct website. Need to order some for the start of the school year... (always thinking ahead!)

Have a wonderful Thursday- dryer just beeped with clean sheets- off to make the bed!

Right when I was getting in the swing of things-

Yesterday. Big C and I went shopping in the BEAUTIFUL weather. Im telling yall, think Saturdays in September. We couldnt get enough of it! While we were out and about, Big C gets an email on his BB from the boss-man saying that he needs to go to North and South Carolina to do some work. Great! I was actually excited about it because I can FINALLY go with him! (One of the benefits of being a teacher) So in a scurry, we made plans for the puppy, booked a rental car and hotel rooms, and off we will go this afternoon after we see Legally Blonde the Musical! (HELLO, IM SO EXCITED!)

We will have a computer, just dont know how much blogging I will be doing because I will be helping him with his work.

SO- if you have been to any of these places and know of any good food/shopping ideas, please fill me in ASAP!
